Another day another change in the weather with a misty dull morning giving way to a drizzly afternoon.
Soil Hill would have been shrouded in mist, so I gave it a miss today.
We did have a run out, to do a bit of shopping early afternoon, and I took some really poor distant photos.
5 Geese were flying together, a photo through the car windscreen leaves a lot to be desired,
I suppose they could be Pink Footed Geese, but the lack of colour in the photo does not help.
Canada or Greylag is also possible.
5 , Flying low, close together, I'll plump for Canada Geese?
A very distant, wet, scan of Mixenden Reservoir from the top road as we headed back to Bradshaw brought with it a Drake Goldeneye and Gulls on the banking.
A Peregrine Falcon was also see elsewhere.
Some stunning photos:-
