Ringstone Reservoir - Barkisland

Wet and breezy here this afternoon, the forecast improvement in the weather failed to materialise.

It was good to have a short chat with AT who was doing the rounds up here.

Not a lot happening with the reservoir full to overflowing.

It is always possible that there could be something lurking under the north side bushes, but with no access and poor visibility a sunny day is needed to inspect the area properly.

Birds:

4 Teal were seen from the road, as I walked along the east side, they soon headed under the NE bushes, out of view.

The usual Small Gulls were in the North field with many Corvids.

A 'Sub-adult' Herring Gull flew over and there were 4 Mallard out in the middle.

Not a lot else I'm afraid.
