Sunday and another poor day

A poor day again , very, very wet, some more fog that came and went when the windy stuff arrived.

We had a quick trip to Aldi, Halifax this morning where Sue went in, and I stayed out in the car park - sky gazing.

I just managed to get a very large Gull overhead and some strange looks from shoppers wearing masks - (well they could have been smiling - couldn't see for the masks).

A look for the Peregrine in the usual places failed to locate it.

I had a quick look at Raggalds flood and was rewarded with a good soaking in the few minutes it took me from the car  to the Flood and back - just a single Jackdaw in the field!

It will soon be DJS's anniversary of the Mixenden sighting of the  Great Northern Diver (15/12/2014), so I'm awaiting a text Dave!
