A Wellie Trudge In Thick Mist

A poor day again today, thick mist throughout and damp with it.

At least most of the snow has gone, but the snow melt has turned the already saturated ground into a real squelch.

A couple of hours exercise walk with very little hope of seeing much.

I went down through Bradshaw Park, where the path is a pond in one place.

Down again through the small copse to Holdsworth and a quick look near Oats Royd fishing ponds before retracing my steps.

There are some 'keep out' type signs here, now, but few signs pointing the way to the official footpath past the ponds.

Just 19 species of bird seen today!!

A Male Bullfinch was pick of the bunch, seen in the Holdsworth copse.

The  birds in the photos have been 'enhanced' a bit to make them visible.
