Another Warm One

Another exceptionally hot day and 2 stints at Bradshaw Park with

Abi revealed that I an more Eddie the Eagle than Franz Klammer.

In between the park visits I did some sky gazing and bagged another Swallow. This one was low over the house, but I failed to get it's photo.

A late evening walk up to and around Soil Hill was a quite affair.

Birds:

Garden:

Swallow.

Linnet.

3 Canada Geese.

Soil Hill etc:

The lower shay fields had13 Curlew that were flushed by something (unseen).

2 Oystercatcher were in flight and the ones seen on the deck yesterday were absent, so I guess they are not sitting on eggs.

A large contingent of Lapwing and a few Mallard.

A couple of Little Owl were seen also with a few Gulls over, high, late evening.

It's amazing how many Blackbirds you see when you are looking for Ring Ouzel.

??? Peregrine
