A wet and windy birding session this afternoon around Ogden Water, hoping this poor weather might have brought something special with it.
The few bits of shoreline that remain will be short lived as the water is gushing in from the moors.
2 circuits was enough to test my waterproofness.
Birds:-
6 Herring Gulls at one point.
A few Smaller Gulls.
A Dipper was seen in the dark sluice area below the promenade.
2 Great Spotted Woodpecker on the feeders in the reservoir house garden.
Very few smaller birds on the circuits - probably sheltering in the woods.
