Ogden Water - take two

Another windy day with some hailstone showers and another visit to Ogden Water this afternoon.

There were some sunny bits so it was not as wet as yesterday.

Birds:-

1 Cormorant left > N over the car park as I was putting me wellies on.

A heartening sight of 2 Oystercatcher at the end of the prom. (any Wader here being a bonus).

2 Goosander.

A Kingfisher in the trees along the north west side.

(It seems to recognise me, as soon as I stop to take its photo its off!)

A second (or the same one) flew over the reservoir later.

4 Canada Geese.

c50 Mallard.

Very few Gulls.

Goldcrest.

4 Treecreeper.

Long Tailed Tits, feeding low in the trees in several locations (20+).

A few Blackbird and Robin was about all.

Good to see that the Raggalds Flood has a fair bit of juice in it - just 2 Canada Geese here , as I went past on my way home.
