After this mornings Oats Royd outing I enjoyed a late evening outing near home on a vey cold April day.
One Little Owl was sheltering, from the North Easterly wind, behind a wall.
A single Red Legged Partridge was, distant, in a field further along.
Beyond East Croft Farm a couple of Linnets were high in a tree.
Pr. Mallard, two Large (Herring?) Gulls NW, 2 Meadow Pipit.
Blackbirds with the usual Jackdaws and Magpies was about all.
Hoping for an April Shrike! What are my chances?
