Bradshaw - Oats Royd

I had a walk to Oats Royd, staying on the main track, and a right turn nr. Roper Lane (after struggling up the steep hill) on a really cold, dull morning.

By the time I'd got to the Comms. mast at the top, I was perspiring big time.

Not much happening in Bradshaw and the path below Roper Lane had quiet a few dog walkers and dogs shooting about.

Some great potential here for something special dropping in, Today we  needed some sunshine here, to get the birds active.

Birds:

2 Canada Geese and a Moorhen by Bradshaw Park.

The Canada Goose looked to be on eggs.

Oats Royd etc:

4 Willow Warbler singing.

4 Chiffchaff calling.

2 Moorhen.

A Female Blackcap was too quick off the mark for a photo.

Buzzard calling loudly.

2 Linnet, Song Thrush and 2 noisy Jaw.
