Bradshaw

A Sparrowhawk was over Bradshaw Lane at lunchtime also here abouts a Kestrel.

(Kestrel scarce of late).

I enjoyed a short birding walk up the local fields late afternoon.

Here abouts were a distant, high, Sparrowhawk.

A Green Woodpecker, again distant.

3 Stock Dove.

2 Red Legged Partridge.

A Linnet seen and a few singing.

A few Meadow Pipit - they seem scarce?

(Two Buzzards were high over Oats Royd, seen from the garden, earlier).

Some interesting birds , along the cycle track, that runs from near Thornton towards Queensbury, during our morning walk (no bins or camera) but a good few calling and singing Whitethroat about.
