Leeshaw Reservoir Oxenhope

Abi with us today, but I did get out this aft.

A bit grim for walking, so I headed off to Oxenhope which is fairly near with convenient parking near the water.

Ideal for a day like today.

It poured down going and it poured down coming home, in between was ok with just light rain to contend with.

The reservoir is very full though.

Lapwings were chasing everything in sight, including each other.

I called at the Raggalds Flood on the way there - very little water and just a Crow or two.

Birds:-

Redshank, Lapwing.

I only saw one Lapwing chick.

Heron, Curlew.

Dipper, Canada Goose, Greylag Goose.

Oystercatcher.

2 Common Sandpiper in flight .

Cuckoo called a couple of times.

2 Robins, Red Grouse called once.

Mallard, Stock Dove.

Woodpigeon, Pheasant.

Pied Wagtail.

Couple of Meadow Pipits.

Not much in the air.

Probably a Lapwing

??????
Pink Footed Goose??
