Ryburn Reservoir Sunday Afternoon / Monday Local

Sunday:

A trip to see Emma in White Windows and a very short outing, beforehand, along the side of Ryburn Reservoir, Ripponden Sunday Afternoon.

Just 4 Canada Geese on the water with a pr. Canada Geese and 4 Goslings in tow.

A Mistle Thrush was perched in a blossom tree.

Elsewhere a Sparrowhawk was seen over Morrisons and also couple of Lesser Black-backed Gulls.

The local fields Sunday evening were quiet with Pheasant, Blackbird and Chaffinch and a few Meadow Pipit.

One Mipit perched on a post quivering it's tail and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls over.

Monday:

An early morning trip to Cottingly this morning, and a Curlew flew low over the car with a Heron high above.

Raggalds Flood has some juice one Woodpigeon.

Bradshaw Lane had 1 Little Owl nr. DJB's house.

Local fields this evening and I had a couple of Linnet , a couple Meadow Pipit and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls for company.

A Meadow Pipit sat on a far away post ,singing (unless by some miracle it's not a Meadow Pipit).

Still a cold wind.
