Thur 8th Jul - Soil Hill and Local Fields

A very hot stroll up to and around Soil Hill this afternoon.

Things were pretty quiet in the heat and I did not linger long, keeping to the contour path.

Lots of Bees on the Clover and Butterflies fluttering by.

I had to watch my step so as not to step on the Bees, the Butterflies are a lot more savvy.

On the way back the Bagpipe Gang were playing along Taylor Lane - Percy Road Ken was missing from the group though, so I did not get his autograph.

Later, after tea, I had a sunny and warm walk up the local fields.

My Blogger software does not deal with the header photo, in the same manner, since an update to the software a few days ago.

It does not appear to shrink the photo to fit the available space.

After some trial an error I've managed to use the Picassa 'Export' option to export the photo, reducing it's size and then load the exported version into the header as normal.

Not sure if I'm using a sledge hammer to crack a nut and if there is an easier way. Probably Google Blogger software will be updated to solve this soon.
