A trip out to Leeshaw Reservoir, Oxenhope this afternoon, later I had a walk up the local fields and I did a bit of sky watching during the day.
Birds:-
Leeshaw Reservoir:-
c50 Meadow Pipit, 4 Swallow, Pheasant, Kestrel.
Just a few Black Headed Gulls.
2 Lesser Black-backed Gull.
6 Herring Gull.
Canada Geese, Greylag Geese.
(I did not see any Pinkies in among).
Cormorant, 3 Pied Wagtail.
A large flock of Starlings.
Garden Sky Watch;
3 Jay, Buzzard.
2 Mistle Thrush.
A few Black Headed and Lesser Black-backed Gulls over.
(3 Large Gull distant - possibly Great Black-backed Gulls but the photo isn't good enough for me to tell).
Local Fields:-
Little Owl, Kestrel, 1 Common Gull.
Black Headed Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull.
