Hirst Wood.
A run out to Saltaire this morning for a walk, hoping to beat the forecast rain.
We went through Hirst Wood, along the canal and river Aire.
Dry for the first half, pelted it down second half.. But the café was open.
No bins today and just the camera on the phone.
Some good birds here today.
Birds:-
A small skein of Pink Footed Geese > SW(ish).
12 Goosander in total.
4 Jay.
4 Cormorant.
Kingfisher.
Grey Wagtail.
Heron.
Pied Wagtail.
(2 Otters ).
Ogden:
Another fairly wet outing this afternoon, the sun appeared as I was leaving.
Just one circuit of the juice again today.
Birds:-
Bullfinch.
Goldcrest.
3 Treecreeper.
Usual 4 different Gull species.
