We had a visit to White Windows care home this morning and whilst I was waiting for my Covid test result I had a short stroll around the gardens.
Lots of colours in the trees and bushes at the moment but not many birds, just a fly over of 4 Redwing was as good as it got.
Leeshaw:
I had an hour's outing at Leeshaw Reservoir late afternoon.
A pretty miserable experience with heavy showers blown along on a strong wind throughout.
I parked on the track, not leaving the car, and watched the comings and going of the mainly Black Headed Gulls.
Most of the Gulls were on the west banking, difficult to see on good days but tough going today with very poor visibility.
I took quite a lot of (poor) photos to look through later.
Potentially I have a photo of a Yellow Legged Gull, but the picture is poor and with camera shake etc the accuracy of the "wing mirrors" may well be distorted.
No Winter / Migrant Ducks again here for me.
Sanity deserted me, and for some unknow reason , I came home via the Fly Flats road as the rain was lashing down.
I parked up on the wide road above the reservoir but the visibility was worse than usual from the road and I did not see any birds on the water.
Peregrine Falcon seen elsewhere.
The 'best' of a poor lot of photos!
