Ogden in the drizzle

A mild wet night ,last night, had shifted nearly all the snow this morning.

This afternoon I had the short drive out to Ogden Water and I 'enjoyed ' an hour's meander around the reservoir.

The recent storm has brought some trees down and snapped off quite a few branches.

The paths however were mostly clear of most of the debris with just a few obstacles to negotiate.

The snow melt brought gallons of water gushing into the reservoir from the various intake points.

Birds:

After the Lord Mayor 's show (of  birds yesterday) comes the...

Birds were of typical November fashion, what birds there were, that is.

No rarer Ducks again which was disappointing.

A Dipper was down in the very dark sluice area.

Treecreeper.

Long Tailed Tit.

A few Goldfinch and Blackbird knocking about.

C20 Gulls were distant seen through the mizzle.

The only bonus today was the lack of cars in the car park.
