Cycle Track - Thornton to Queensbury Tunnel

Another grizzly day, mild, very very dark and misty with intermittent drizzle ugh!

We had a trip to town this morning for some Noel stuff and after lunch opted for a walk on the tarmac rather than mud.

The weather negating any wish to go further afield.

The cycle track café was open and was doing a fair trade as we called in for some flapjack and a drink this afternoon.

The usual birds here:-

Bullfinch, Dunnock, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Goldfinch.

A Sparrowhawk zoomed over, soon out of sight.

Elsewhere a Peregrine was seen.

Just a few Crows on Raggalds Flood but still a good bit of water.
