Local Jaunt

The car was iced up this morning but there were some very pretty skies early on.

A bitterly cold day today and I just managed a local walk along the fields to Ned Hill then down Ingham Lane through Bradshaw Park to home.

After lunch I had a cold hour in the garden trying to pick some Pinkies out of a leaden sky.

Plenty of pinkies reported on the Grapevine today but none seen over Bradshaw.

We got a right thrashing by Abi at UNO this afternoon and  somtehing called "Monopoly Deal".

Although the "Deal" game was beyond me,  and , Abi's rules seemed to change each time we played!

Birds:-

Little Owl (took some finding).

3 Stock Dove.

Herring Gulls overhead.

Not much else.

The view towards Halifax from Bradshaw fields.

  1. Nice view across the fields and good to get close up to the Rook John
