Bradshaw Fields & Out and About

A dull mostly dry day today and we were on a hunt to find Seville oranges with Sue keen to start here Orange marmalade making marathon.

There is only a short window within which to get these oranges - late Dec to early Jan.

After a late lunch I had a walk up the local fields and left Sue with her nose to the 'rind stone'. Ho Ho Ho.

Birds:-

Out and About:

Peregrine Falcon.

The c60 Pink Footed Geese over Swalesmoor >W that I reported were actually 69 in number.

Fieldfare.

Bradshaw Fields:-

Green Woodpecker called loudly from near East Croft Farm.

2 Kestrel.

Two Little Owl.

1 Stock Dove.

Heron.

Mistle Thrush.
