Bradshaw - Holdsworth Circular

I enjoyed a walk through Bradshaw Park and the fields down to the Holdsworth area and back this afternoon.

Another quiet breezy outing with mostly bright skies and dry with it.

It was another January day struggle to find anything special today.

Perhaps we need a big storm to shake things up a bit or probably I need to travel further afield in Caldedale?

Looks as if we want any big storm we will have to wait until late next week.

Birds: ( or lack of 'em).

4 Greenfinch in the park.

2 Long Tailed Tit.

A few Goldfinch and Chaffinch.

A few Rooks, plenty of Carrion Crows and Woodpigeon.

The usual, 3 more common Gulls species ,seen, but even these were scarce in number  today.

A mega distant bird on a wire is probably a Woodpigeon.

No Thrush species, which is unusual for this walk.

Oh well at least I enjoyed the walk!

Woodpigeon ??
