Dentist first job this morning - not one of my favourite pastimes.
A bit later a phone call from an elderly friend of Sue's, now found that they could not get up the stairs anymore.
This had us bed hunting big style.
We managed to find a suitable bed, buy it, get it delivered within 3 hours, set it up, down stairs and move some furniture downstairs as well - result!!
In among all this I just squeezed in an hour or so walk along the canal / river from Elland Bridge towards Brighouse (but not far!!)
It was very pleasant indeed in the bright sunshine.
Birds:-
Hard to come by.
2 Collard Doves.
1 Cormorant.
6 Goosander (2 Males).
Long Tailed Tits.
11 Canada Geese.
A few Black Headed Gulls.
Mallards.
A Green Woodpecker called early on from the Crematorium area.
Moorhen.
A Peregrine was seen elsewhere.
