To escape the incessant gale in Bradshaw today, I was planning on looking around Brookfoot LNR this afternoon.
The traffic at the "Elland Road" roundabout in Brighouse was well snarled up so I headed back up the road to Lightcliffe.
At dusk I had a 15 minute stroll near the local fields hoping something nocturnal might be about.
Just 2 Red Legged Partridge, feeding in the fields, was my reward.
Coach Road Birds:-
The usual crew here included:-
3 Nuthatch.
3 Greenfinch.
2 Mistle Thrush.
2 Great Spotted Woodpecker.
3 Stock Dove.
