Non birding day

I was cleaning our mansion this morning with my bride.

Well I could not find the duster ho-ho-ho.

On a visit to get some free range eggs, this morning, I thought I'd got a  Brambling but on further inspection there were 2 Chaffinch in the trees being blown sideways - boo-hoo.

The afternoon turned out to be a shocker, with gales blowing heavy sleet and snow showers in swathes across Keighley Road, as I ventured out to the surgery to see if the nurse could get blood out of a stone.

Elsewhere on our travels this morning, a very distant Peregrine Falcon was seen.

A very poor forecast for the weekend does not bode well for local my birding routine.

Some awesome photographs:-
