Shelf Park:
A snorter of a gale in Bradshaw this afternoon so we had run down to Shelf where ....... there was a snorter of a gale.
A hairy walk through the woods with dead calm one minute and a howling wind the next.
Needless to say the birds had more brains than we did.
A Carrion Crow was on the path and a few Great and Blue Tits was about it.
A short sky watch late afternoon saw c200 Gulls in 10's, 20's ,30's and 40's heading south past our house.
Masters of the strong wind.
