Bradshaw To Ogden and Back

A dull muggy sort of day with the one heavy shower and an odd bits of rain  on my walk to Ogden and back - heavy rain soon setting in as I got in home.

Birds:-

Little Owl, Mistle Thrush, Song Thrush.

3 Stock Dove, 2 Oystercatcher.

My first Chiffchaff of 2022.

Curlew and Red Legged Partridge (Back Lane).

c20 Gulls on the water - distant in gloom.

1 Woodpecker drumming lightly over to the west.

1 Woodpecker drumming over to the east.

1 Woodpecker called - fair to assume they were all Great Spotted Woodpecker?

2 Treecreeper, Goldcrest.

4 common Tit species seen.

It was good to hear several Greenfinch calls and Brrrr's in different places along the walk.

Kingfisher in the north end obscured by trees flushed 3 times as I walked along the path.

Managed just one rubbish photo.

Buzzard calling (not seen).

I was nearly home when a Grey Partridge flushed running and 'clucking' down the field.

(It looked a very small bird),

An enjoyable saunter with a few decent birds thrown in.

I heard a singing Chiffchaff from B&Q car park this morning.
