After a poor show at Leeshaw this aft. I had probably my last chance to get a better photo of the Lesser Whitethroat on Taylor Lane - although common sense says its long gone!!
The heat was dissipating a bit and the outing was a very pleasant 'wait' on the copse track!
No go with the 'LW' but I did nab a Common Whitethroat nearby.
Birds:-
4 Kestrel sightings but probably 2 birds.
Large Gulls over regularly.
A few Common Gulls are back in the usual fields.
A few Swallow.
Common Whitethroat, Willow Warbler.
A sub-adult Lesser Black-backed Gull looked to have a problem with it's bill.
A Green Pecker called from trees opposite our house as I sat in the garden eating breakfast.
1 cy (?) Lesser Black Backed Gull
