Leeshaw Reservoir

Late morning we took Abi to have a look at Haworth.

She found a few trinkets in the shops, but the 'scented' shops proved too much for her sense of smell and after going into one, refused to entertain any more!

We had a café break before the ladies went to the Bronte Museum while I went for a birding walk - in theory.

Anyway...

Tomb it may concern - the heat proved too oppressive and I actually gave up the ghost and ended up on a bench, under the ashes,  in the dead centre of the cemetery.

Although a cosy suttee would have been nice with a crypt-ic crossword to pass the time and a cask-et of ale.

I desperately tried to avoid a coffin fit after some water went down the wrong hole.

Nothing much came along and the ladies arrived saying there was washing to peg out when we got home.

We called for 10 minutes at very, very low Leeshaw Reservoir on our way past.

I took some photos of the birds on the shoreline to look through later but nothing exceptional popped out.

Birds:-

Kestrel seen on the way there.

1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 110 Lapwing, 20 Black Headed Gull.

c30 Greylag Geese with many Canada Geese in the fields.

5 Mallard, Heron , Cormorant.
