Garden and Taylor Lane

A busy day being 'in charge' of Abi for some of it.

Thankfully she settled for Beans on Toast at lunch  and  an orange and Waffle and beans at tea-time. (not Sue's idea of good food mind you).

A garden watch this morning had a Green Woodpecker calling loudly from the tree opposite (not seen).

A Buzzard also called this morning and late evening.

6 or so Mistle Thrush on a pylon.

Taylor Lane etc:

A late evening (very warm) walk up to Taylor Lane to check for the Lesser Whitethroat failed to find it - doesn't mean its not there though!!

In fact after yesterday, where birds were regularly flitting about, this evening was quite with very few birds moving.

A Little Owl and a Kestrel were seen from Bradshaw Lane on the way up.

Taylor Lane had a few Linnet and Goldfinch.

c10 Mistle Thrush.

c6 Swallow.

Very quiet (except for the 2 small motorbikes in a nearby field!)
