Ilkley

We took Abi to Ilkley today, one of her favourite places, where her spending money goes a lot further in the many charity shops in close proximity to each other.

First though I had to do some serious stone skimming and general messing about by the river.

With the ladies off shopping I had a couple of hours walk along the river Wharf with bins and camera.

Pleasant enough but the river could do with a top up to clean it a bit!

A tad disappointing on the bird front with no Dippers seen, although the area where I normally see them, by the bridge, was occupied by kids enjoying the low water.

Birds:-

2 Mandarin Duck, 2 Moorhen, Singing Chiffchaff.

Many Grey Wagtail, Pied Wagtail.

Great Spotted Woodpecker,.

Little Egret, Treecreeper, Long Tailed Tits and a few others.
