Last Few Days

We went for our Covid-19 "Spikevax Bivalent" - 2022 booster jab on Sunday afternoon.

The side effects  knocked us both for six (Sue more than me), so Monday was a day of rest.

3 Swallows were seen on Sunday but non today.

Today Sue dropped me at Ogden on a "doldrums" sort of day, mild, dull and calm.

A circuit of the water and home via "the grunt", Percy Rd and Taylor Lane with some short detours along Ned Hill Track and Soil Hill main track.

Birds:-

Ogden (Very quiet again).

c160 Gulls (nothing out of the ordinary seen).

1 Cormorant, Great Crested Grebe, Tufted Duck.

Great Spotted Woodpecker (Heard).

Bullfinch.

3 Buzzards in the air together over Soil Hill.

3 Kestrel seen along the way - 1 Kestrel eating prey on a post.

Saturday's garden watch brought 3 Swallow and on Sunday as I had quick look outside, a Buzzard flew over the house. some Noisy Goldfinch also passed by and a Green Woodpecker called from nearby.

Buzzard over the house.

Pied Wagtail - Brighouse Town Centre this a.m.
