Bradshaw Wander

Another day with fog which took ages to clear.

Mid-afternoon I decided to have walk down to Holdsworth and return  via my local 'Bradshaw Fields".

An enjoyable walk, very mild but very dull for the most part.

Birds:-

2 Jay. 2 Pheasant.

C50 Fieldfare SE over Holdsworth's Schools.

A few Black Headed and Common Gulls in the fields.

A smart Grey Wagtail was by the stream in the field NW of the Oats Royd fishing ponds.

Aren't they Amazingly long tailed.

A Mistle Thrush was on ironwork on a telephone line.

Bradshaw (Local fields) had a Kestrel, Black Headed Gull, Common Gull and 1 Little Owl.

A Green Woodpecker called from afar, somewhere in the Oats Royd area.

Not a lot seen but it is always good to get out from behind the 4 walls!!

Lots of trees on the walk but amazingly very few berry type trees.

A wild Fungus the size of 2 and a half footballs was in carpet Mick's garden!
