A very windy but bright sunny day today, started with our flu jabs!
Late morning we had a short drive out to park near Oxenhope railway station.
We walked along the side of the stream into Haworth and called for the obligatory snack in a café.
Normally we would do the return leg by going through the church, but today we opted to keep lower down, out of the worst of the wind, and so we retraced our steps.
This afternoon I battled against the strong wind going for a stroll up the local fields, where there was not much to write home about - about.
Birds:-
Oxenhope - Haworth:
Kingfisher.
Heron.
Buzzard.
Dipper,
Not bad on a brisk walk.
Local Fields:
1 Little Owl - took some finding, sheltering by a wall.
A few Gull firing through >W on the wind.
A Jackdaw or three!!
