I had a walk up to check out the Raggalds Flood this morning while Abi was getting her act together.
The water is hanging on in there and this afternoon's rain should top it up a bit.
Good to see 5 Lapwing there, also there 20 Common Gulls and a Black Headed Gull at one point and a small flock of Starlings dropped in.
On the way up the road a large flock of Starling were seen on the hill top.
A pair of Red Legged Partridge were in the bonnet fields.
"Basketball" today with Abigail in Holmfield Park - a lot easier than "Rugby" and she soon opted for the swings which was a relief.
While the ladies made some buns , I had a short walk up the local Bradshaw Fields this afternoon, but this was curtailed by the rain alas.
Just a Kestrel, Little Owl, c20 Common and a few Black Headed Gulls seen today.
