Raggalds Flood / Bradshaw Fields

Fine drizzle blown on by a gusty breeze this morning as I walked up to check out the Raggalds Flood.

(The Raggalds Inn is having a major face lift, the pub name reverting back to The Raggalds after being renamed Queens Head not long ago.

I must say it looks pretty classy from the outside. I hope I can afford the beer when it eventually opens!).

Nice to see lots of juice in the flood, not sure it will last long though.

Just 10 Small Gulls here.

An "interesting' Common Gull was seen in a field on the way up.

I was trying to turn it into a Common/Black Headed Gull hybrid or a Ringed Bill Gull - that's what this November weather does to your brain!

A Kestrel struggled in the wind and a flock of Starlings were in distant fields.

36 or so Gulls were on the football field (opposite the Raggalds) as we passed earlier.

This afternoon I had a short walk up the local fields, here again, the walk was plagued by fine drizzle on the breeze - unpleasant.

16 Canada Geese flew overhead.

Just a Common Gull in the fields, a few Gulls over and the Little Owl sheltering under a wall.

An unid. bird passed over the house this morning  (obviously a lifer) - I've posted a poor photo - I doubt the photos are  much good though.

Unid. over the house - above photos.

Interesting (Or not) Common Gull.
It had some unusual head marking that
are not visible on the photo alas.
