Raggalds Flood / Bradshaw Fields

A dental appointment this morning seemed to match the weather, somehow.

A truly awful morning with mega heavy rain.

Late morning I did venture up the road to check out the Raggalds Flood and I nearly made it there and back without getting wet, but not quite.

A busy afternoon followed with just time for a short cold saunter up the local fields.

Birds:

Raggalds:

1 maybe 2 Kestrel.

30 Small Gulls.

4 Lapwing.

2 Mistle Thrush.

A small flock of 50 or so Starlings dropped in but something spooked them and they soon left.

(A large flock of 200+ Starling were seen on Pavement Lane, on my return from the dentist this a.m.).

Bradshaw Fields:

Kestrel.

Little Owl.

2 Raven.

Not much else.

A Sparrowhawk was near Ainley Top as we passed by today.
