We had a late morning short exercise walk at Shibden Park today.
Another bright cold crisp day.
This afternoon I had a meander through Bradshaw Park and down towards Oats Royd - but not far.
More or less the same birds in Shibden Park today as yesterday, no Buzzard sighting today, but I did see a Mistle Thrush.
The local stroll was very, very quiet.
I enjoyed a chat with a really knowledgeable couple as I went past St John's farm.
A Little Owl, seen from Bradshaw Lane, was as good as it got.
Late afternoon I had a half hour gaze from the lounge window and I was rewarded with a Sparrowhawk that landed in the tree opposite.
It did not stay long.
Planes in every direction over Bradshaw this morning.
