We had a drive over to Bingley for an exercise walk this afternoon.
A better day with some brightness and negligible wind today.
Not a birding walk, really , but a few good birds came near!
Later on, I had my usual short walk up the local fields and it was quite pleasant with some sunshine for company.
Birds:-
St. Ives:
4 Nuthatch.
2 Treecreeper.
Song Thrush.
2 Great Spotted Woodpecker.
(A possible drumming Woodpecker was heard very faintly at distance - but lots of tractor and drilling noises so I could be mistaken!).
2 Tufted Duck, Mute Swan.
Black Headed Gull and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull.
Local Fields:
2 Kestrel.
2 Little Owl.
Stonechat (miles off!).
A few Common Gulls.
