As February 2023 draws to a close....
A dark cool settled morning kept me mostly dry with just the odd bit of light rain as I enjoyed a walk over to Ogden and back.
Good to chat to Clifford on the way through the farms.
The usual birds about again today, similar to yesterday.
Great to hear Song Thrush singing in 2 different locations.
Birds:-
Ogden:
Green Woodpecker.
Nuthatch.
Song Thrush.
The usual Tit species.
(I wonder how many rare / scarce Tit species go unnoticed? With s
o many flitting about it's easy to ignore them - they should be singing /calling more soon - so that might be a big help).
A few Gulls on the water, not much else seen.
Ogden from / to Bradshaw:
A second Green Woodpecker.
A second Song Thrush.
Pr. Mistle Thrush.
Two puzzlers - Maybe a Redwing and Maybe a Linnet !!! but photos aren't great.
I'm opting for both being Linnet?
Greenfinch.
Chaffinch.
Little Owl.
Noticeably more birdsong today.
