Frozen snow on the deck this morning was topped up with snow falling all day.
Bradshaw Lane was in pretty good nick for most of the day but this evening, it looks really nasty - but I had no need to use it today!
I put some Mealworms out for the birds and 2 (ding-donging) Robin, 2 Dunnock and a pair of Blackbirds came to dine.
Mid-afternoon and during a short lull in the white precipitation (plenty of time to study the dictionary today) I was tempted to have a look for "my" Little Owl up the local fields.
The Little Owl obliged, popping up on to a nearby post before flying to shelter under a field wall.
Really poor visibility with some misty damp stuff here.
Apart from the Little Fellow just a couple of hardy Crows in the snow fields.
Looks like a night to be in from of the telly.
(The BBC seem to be paying DJ's and Sports presenters a lot of dosh.
I usually talk a load of old garbage - perhaps I should apply for a job there).
See what happens when I don't get my birding fix - I go political and all.
