Bradshaw to Holdsworth circular

Another warm and sunny day today, that drops very cold when the sun goes in.

I enjoyed a birding walk down the fields to Holdsworth and back and also a bit of sky watching from the garden.

These bright blues skies don't help the sky watch much!

Top of the shop on a very quiet outing was that of two Buzzards very high drifting north.

One looked to be carrying prey (frog?) and the other was calling.

If I am lucky to be reincarnated I hope it's not as a Blue Tit.

The Blue Tit pair have been back and forth, and forth and back all week.

Abi with us this evening and all week during the school holidays - pass the vitamin pills!

Birds:-

Lots of familiar bird calls today, but not a lot seen really.

2 Buzzard was about all worth mentioning.

A tad earlier a single distant Buzzard was arguing with a large Gull.

A Butterfly photographed on our morning visit to White Windows could be a Small White.

Another Butterfly by Holdsworth could be a Small Tortoiseshell.
