Home - Soil Hill - Home

I enjoyed a walk from home up Taylor Lane and over Soil Hill main tracks early evening.

I thought the heat would have died down but it was a boiler of a walk up.

Great to chat to RH who stopped in his car, at the end of Ned Hell Track, giving me time for a breather!

The usual birds were seen this evening, a highlight was 3 Kestrel all together on Taylor Lane, 2 of them having a bit of a a fight.

One Kestrel was diving at anything that moved, Crows and Magpie in its sights, before it flew off quickly towards Swalesmoor.

Another highlight was a Sparrowhawk that appeared from nowhere over my bonce as I walked along Ned Hill Track.

Birds:-

4 Kestrel.

1 Sparrowhawk.

Lesser Black-backed Gull.

4 Whitethroat (Includes one this aft, along Bradshaw Lane).

Pheasant, Swallow, Meadow Pipit, Goldfinch, Skylark and a few others.

Buzzard and attached Crow seen this am.
