Local Fields This Evening and Lots of buses earlier

Bus Rides:

We had a few bus rides interspersed with some walking today,

1st we caught the handy 502 Bradshaw - Keighley bus to Cross Roads and then walked down into Haworth.

A Toasted Tea Cake for lunch in a café and then a visit to the sweet shop at the top of main street before waiting at the bottom of Main Street for the Hebden Bridge bus.

A busker was in the square at H.B. and we listened to him for a bit before walking along the canal to the Blue Teapot at Mytholmroyd for a second Tea Cake.

A few packed buses got us near home and we walked the rest of the way arriving home at 5pm.

In Haworth a Raptor was high over the café (in among 2 Swift)  as we had our lunch - Sparrowhawk?

The bird has a fork in the tail but I think this may be moulting feathers?

A Swift looked to be nesting in a building roof along Haworth Main Street and a House Martin was feeding young under a house near Cross Roads.

Evening:

The usual walk this evening up the local fields.

The Little Owl took ages to find preferring a tree in 'Ward's Views " garden.

Other birds (not many).

Pheasant, 4 Swallow, 1 Mistle Thrush, Greenfinch, 1 Meadow Pipit.

Wren, Black Headed Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull.

I spent a good while scanning the lower fields for a returning "Wee Tear" but failed to find one.

A Fox (or maybe 2).

Comma Butterfly along the canal.
That flew off as soon as I took this rubbish photo.
