Today we had a long walk from the caravan site to Whitley Bay, on again to Cullercoats, and on again to Tynemouth - three very picturesque seaside towns / villages.
The weather forecast was for rain and thunderstorms mid-morning so the rucksack was quite heavy, so no bins or camera today.
The weather 'itself' failed to take any notice of the forecast, and it remained stubbornly sunny and quite warm all day!!
Late evening I had a climb down to the rocky area on the beach.
Birds:-
2 Kestrel, one calling on the cliffs.
Fulmar, Gannet, Heron, Oystercatcher.
Many Waders on a distant spit - Golden Plover and/or Dunlin
Redshank, Curlew, Terns diving (Sandwich Tern calling).
