Bradshaw Fields on a Wet Afternoon

We had a shopping trip to Aldi, Clayton this a.m. and we witnessed a bit of excitement as we were 'Tilling' our shopping.

The security buzzer buzzed loudly near the exit, a furtive looking guy nervously looked  towards the tills, then legged it.

An Aldi employee (Usain Bolt's brother - Expansion Bolt) legged it through the shop and out the door after the shoplifter, like a hare.

He didn't catch the varmint but he did retrieve the stolen goods.

It looked like a huge piece of top quality steak to me.

***************************************************************************

I eventually ventured out this afternoon but me timing was off.

Anyway.. It Was Wet.

The sky was wet, the  fields were wet, I was wet, my bins were wet, my camera was wet.

Probably the baby was wet, behind my ears were wet, my blanket was wet, my fish was

wet, my room was wet, my shod was wet, my suit was wet, my whistle was wet.

Birds:-

Green Woodpecker.

5 Greylag Geese.

3 Wren.

The usual Small Gulls were distant.

1 Herring Gull over.

3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls over the garden.

4 Starlings and a Mistle Thrush were on a Pylon.

The  Fox (Clint Eastwood) sat in Eastcroft's garden, looking thoroughly cheesed off with the day.
