A much improved day weather wise and we had a very busy morning out and about.
A short sky watch this morning did bring me a reward with Pink Footed Geese way, way south of me > west.
I thought I could make out about 50 "dots" .
I took some photos, guessing where the Geese were and one photo captured them after
some messing about.
However, the Geese were picked up shortly afterwards over Todmorden by SB and Annie H. also.
Annie H. counted C70 in the skein which looks pretty accurate looking at my
poor photos - thanks Annie.
This afternoon I had a short enjoyable walk up the local fields on a pleasantly mild, dry, outing.
Birds:-
c70 Pink Footed Geese > West.
2 Buzzard.
Kestrel.
2 Mistle Thrush.
Wren.
4 Stock Dove.
2 Common Gull.
2 Lesser Black-backed Gull > W.
