Ogden - W.E.T.

Another poor afternoon as I had a run over to Ogden.

I sat in the car park as the rain hammered down on the car roof.

Then, I sat in the cafe as the rain hammered down.

Then, I walked around the circuit as.....

I did a longer detour up through the woods on the east side.

Along the woods side of the perimeter wall towards the car park.

Back down through the woods, to the north end to complete my circuit and...

It was great exercise.

Just a small camera with me today, which hardly mattered!

Along the way, I met a very tall guy,

(They are all tall to me I'm not very high),

He asked, What are you looking for? Are you a spy?

I'm on the hunt for a  Scoter, common ..... even, a pair,

If its any good to you, there was a  Lambretta in the car park,  ridden in by the mayor,

Scoter !  not scooter, umph!  .... Scoter's a sea-duck!

and that's when I left him..... ' um

looking dumbstruck.

.......  Longfellow (c). ....Not .

(Its all lies I'm afraid but I though it sounded funny on my way

around the water- don't sound right funny now I'm home).

Nice  steamy stuff in the kitchen - coat must be nearly dry I guess.

Birds:-

13 Small Gulls at one point (12 Common, 1 Black bonced).

A few Gulls coming and going but not many.

2 Jay.

Some high pitched contact calls but nothing moving.

Great that the café and toilets were open on such a poor day.

Someone had left their boots in the car park.

Rain, Rain, Rain and Some Creedence

....

Some More Rain and Some More Creedence.

Some pretty colours.

Paths a bit waterlogged in places.

The rare wet  Ogden Wazzock.
Spotted in the toilets.
