Raggalds/ Ludd. Foot to Hebden Bridge / Local Fields

A really pleasant day today for walking, some sun and very little wind.

I had a walk up to the Raggalds this morning to check out the flood. where the water is still hanging on in there.

Mid-morning we had a drive over to Luddenden Foot and had a really enjoyable saunter to Hebden Bridge calling at the excellent Blue Teapot CafĂ© for a delicious vegetarian snack along the  way.

After a nosy around Hebden Bridge we caught the bus back to the car.

Late afternoon I had my usual stroll up the local fields - dropping cold when darkness arrived.

  1. Nice drake Goosander shot John. I see you have a Lapwing on your gull photo. Was at that the new flood at Brearley fields ?

  2. It was on Raggalds Dave. Nothing on Brearley Flood or Pond area seen from the towpath.
