Pretty grotty here this morning as I had a drive up to Queensbury to have my ears lowered (I've got to look handsome for Christmas haven't I? - plastic surgeon arrives early next week).
I intended to look at the Raggalds Flood but with the thick fog, the flood, would be invisible from the road alas.
Later on we caught the bus to Keighley, had snack in Spoons, and caught the bus back.
Hundreds of Gulls were in a field opposite The Flappit in Cullingworth as we passed on the bus - no camera on out outing today.
Late afternoon I had my usual walk up the local fields.
Dry cold and breezy.
Birds:-
9 Common Gull & 1 Black Headed Gull at one point.
A few Gulls >west as darkness fell.
Pr. Mallard in a muddy puddle.
1 Rook with Carrion Crows and Jackdaws.
Kestrel.
Barn Owl, zipped through!
