A long awaited dry day but still this gale force wind persists.
Especially windy at Ringstone where I was buffeted about a bit looking over the reservoir - soft sod.
The "wavy" water looked a tad north sea like, with nowt at all on it!
The surrounding fields had Gulls and Lapwing dotted all over the shop, but tooooooo far away for any half decent photos.
I normally see Golden Plover here, but I could not pick any out from my vantage point on the road.
Tons of brow stones in the main field might have concealed a plover or 3.
A small flock of Lapwing that came over the water, battling the wind , afforded me a half decent photo though.
Late afternoon Sue dropped me at Ogden and I enjoyed a very blowy walk home via the farm tracks.
